Full Moon In Pisces Energy Reading

Full Moon 101
The Full Moon is a time when what has been hidden in the shadows can rise to the surface to be seen, released, healed or integrated. With the usual themes being:

  • Old resentments
  • Habitual thoughts that don’t serve you
  • Outdated and limiting stories
  • Relationships and situations that no longer fit
  • Shadow archetypes you are attached to
  • Karmic cycles and patterns

It’s a time when tempers can fray or you can feel more emotional than usual.

A time when you will be made acutely aware of what is no longer for you and standing in opposition to the intentions set at the previous New Moon or the New Moon of the current sign, eg: New Moon in Pisces – Full Moon in Pisces.

This can feel uncomfortable, especially if you have been struggling in that area for a long time because the temptation to cling may well be at an all time high.

Full Moon In Pisces
The current Full Moon is in the sign of Pisces. A sign that is dreamy and deeply intuitive. Therefore, it will be inviting you to:

  • Identify what is aligning or misaligning you with your dreams
  • Be honest about whether or not the dream still feels relevant
  • Question whether or not you have been sleeping on your dreams or being too dreamy and whimsical
  • Learn to trust your intuition more
  • Use your intuition to guide you
  • Go within before you go without

A Full Moon in Pisces marks the end of the astrological cycle because Pisces is the last sign in the line-up. Therefore, it brings BIG closure and completion energy. A bit of revamp where you get real about what can no longer be a part of your life. Which also means getting real with yourself about the ways in which you may have held yourself back or are obstructing your forward movement.

This Full Moon is also shining a light on karmic cycles or ancestral patterns that you may have been working on closing out. With the energy both supporting that closure whilst also opening the door on a new beginning. A change in the wind or direction. Which allows you to start setting some new foundations in your life that have to potentional to stand the test of time.

Where you find yourself in this situation it’s likely that you will be guided to the final piece in the puzzle. This is likely to come in the form of:

  • Confirmation from a trusted Source who confirms the signs or downloads that you have been seeing later
  • An intuitive hunch that you simply cannot deny

As with all Full Moons the theme of forgiveness is a biggie. Yet, in this case it can literally be the missing link that emancipates you from the chains that have kept you locked in the past.

Final thoughts
This Full Moon feels to be a big push that is going to get many people moving, especially those that have been stuck in a rut or at the crossroads for a long time.

It’s a time of self trust and connecting with the guidance that lies within you, rather than getting stuck in your mind.

Finally, as much as this is a time of endings it really feels like it’s a time of new beginnings on a personal level too.

Happy Full Moon!

7 Must-Have Crystals Every Teacher Needs

Summer has flown by once again.

Teachers and pupils are back in the classroom. So, tell me, how’s that going?

Hopefully it’s all going well.

However, as a former teacher I can remember this time of the year also being quite overwhelming. Particularly if you are a newly qualified teacher or have moved to a new school. I mean, with getting to know your new class, possibly a new curriculum, new parents, new colleagues and new systems, it’s a lot to take in.

And, I’m not even going to go there, when it comes to the rising Covid cases and all the logistics, precautions and conflicting leadership messages.

It’s a lot, right?

Thankfully, there are things that teachers can do to preserve their mind and wellbeing at this time.

On the practical side this can look like remembering to be as kind and compassionate to yourself as you are with others. Taking time out just for you and knowing who you can turn to for support when you need it.

Yet, what about the spiritual and energy side. How can you take care of yourself in these areas too?

One of the simplest, most effective and prettiest ways to do this is by harnessing the healing benefits of crystals. Working them into your daily routine in a way that supports you in feeling good and staying on your A-game.

This is something that I did as a teacher and today I’m going to share with you the must-have crystal collection for teachers. Also sharing with you simple ideas for blending your crystals into your daily routine. So, let’s jump in.

Crystals for teachers #1: Howlite
A little known crystal that brings the energy of peace and calm the moment you hold it in your hand. Howlite honestly was my saving grace on those days where my mind was spinning with all the things on my never-ending to-do list. This is because one of its properties is calming the mind and slow down. Making it an ideal crystal to place under your pillow if you struggle with insomnia.

Another use for Howlite is to hold it during meditation to support you in feeling more calm and centred. Taking it that step further to place it on the Third Eye during meditation in order to clear that mind fog and pave the way for clarity, wisdom and understanding.

Crystals for teachers #2: Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz is known as an attraction and romance crystal because it vibrates at the frequency of unconditional love. Therefore it can be helpful in guiding you to release any heavy emotions that may contribute to feeling negative, particularly about yourself. As such it can be used to support you in building self-esteem, self-love, compassion, forgiveness and self-worth.

Once again, it’s great to use at the end of the day in meditation, especially of tempers have reached boiling point or someone has hurt your feelings. Placing it on the heart chakra to release those heavy emotions and cry it out too, if you need to. It’s also a great crystal to place on your desk or a shelf in the classroom. Doing so with the intention of creating more harmony and kindness, as well as building self worth, esteem and confidence for all.

Crystals for teachers #3: Black Tourmaline
I’ve got to keep it real with you and say that not all schools are positive, caring communities. In fact, some school environments are the complete opposite. Filled with backstabbing, jealous and negative talk at every turn. Working in an environment like this is draining, especially if you are empathic and sensitive energy. So, its important to protect your energy and Black Tourmaline is perfect for this job. Acting as your crystal bodyguard it creates a shield around you to prevent you from taking on that negative energy. It also has cleansing properties which means that it can be useful in transmuting your own negative thinking too.

The best way that I found to work with Black Tournaline (or any black stone protection crystal) is to wear it as a bracelet. This way it is always on your body protecting you from energy drainers or other forms of unwanted energy.

REMEMBER: Cleanse your Black Tourmaline regularly. I cleansed mine weekly, sometimes daily when the environment was particularly toxic. Check in with yourself.

Crystals for teachers #4: Red Jasper
Staying grounded, persistent and energised can be really challenging, at the best times. Yet, these are qualities that every teacher will need to draw upon at some point in their career. Thankfully, Red Jasper can help you with all those things. Resonating with the Root Chakra, Red Jasper helps you regain your balance, bring you back down to Earth and keep your feet planted firmly on the ground. Making it an ideal ally when you maybe feel a little anxious, when you need to stay focused, get things done tired or need to stand your ground.

It’s great to wear as a talisman, either in anklet or bracelet form. Giving you protection and reminding you of the strength that lies within. Keeping you strong and centred, even in the most challenging situations. A crystal that says #yougotthis

Crystals for teachers #5: Amethyst
Amethyst is known for its stress relieving properties and ability to really calm the mind. Paving the way for clarity, ideas and inspiration for those who are open, as well as ready to receive it.

Amethyst is best used as a touchstone crystal in meditation or placed on your altar. This is because it helps to relax the nervous system and bring in that wave of calm. Due to its resonance with the Third Eye, you want to bring it into the classroom to encourage creative thinking and imagination.

Crystals for teachers #6: Clear Quartz
Known as the Master Healer this is a powerful crystal to have with you in order to:

  • Clear negative energy within you or your environment
  • Provide energy protection
  • Amplify the energy of your own intentions
  • Bring enhanced clarity of the mind

This was one crystal that I would meditate with on those days when I had become drained or had a headache caused by energy overload. During these times, I would place a Clear Quartz over my Third Eye with the intention of dissipating and clearing the energy.

Crystals for teachers #7: Selenite
The ultimate energy cleansing crystal will clear your energy and transmute any stagnant energy in your environment too. It is also a very high vibrational crystal and can be used as a tool to help you connect to your higher self or the Angels for guidance and support.

Selenite is a crystal that I wore as an amulet in the form of a pendant. It can also be placed on your desk at work or in a safe prominent space to soak up any lower energy. You can also perform self crystal healing by placing over an area of your body that feels tense or blocked during a healing meditation. Doing so with the intention to cleanse that area of your body, imagining light filling the space and dissolving any energy blocks.

There you have it, 7 crystals that you can start working with today and a few suggestions on the most effective ways to work with them.

Finally, one thing I would say about working with crystals is that they genuinely meet you where you are at when you work with them intentionally. Helping you to release energy and protect your energy. Yet, I found that they also can empower you to persevere, believe in yourself and thrive during times when you feel all is lost.

Energy Cords: What They Are, Cord Removal & Breakups

As you interact with people throughout the day you are connecting with them through invisible cords of energy. This is a good thing as it allows us to feel and basically interact with our surroundings.

Most of these connections with people are casual or they feel good. Not triggering. Therefore, making them super easy to move on from or simply not feel drained.

However…..

When you’re triggered or fully connected with someone, in conversation, sex or experiences those cords attach. Attaching you and the other person(s) on an energetic basis. This is something that can happen both in-person and online. It can even happen through thoughts and actions. I mean, how many thoughts are you having throughout the day about people that do not serve you in the highest? eg: thoughts about your ex or someone at work you don’t like/doesn’t like you. These thoughts also come with a feeling and energy. A feeling and an energy that simply doesn’t leave you feeling good.

Being able to remove those energy cords helps you to let go, heal, let go and stop you being dependent on someone else’s energy to make you feel good. Even if that energy feels good to begin with, which it can, you never want to be plugged into the energy of another person.

Instead you want to cultivate your own energy. Then set healthy boundaries and take care of it. So, that you feel good, you experience what you need to for your own soul growth and are not at the mercy of other peoples energy, emotions or moods (co-dependence).

Why is cord removal helpful after a breakup?
We have touched on this above but let’s look a little deeper.

Although you may have physically moved on there will be some residual energy between you and you can still be energetically connected to that person.

By working on cord removal you help yourself to:

  • Facilitate the healing & forgiveness
  • Clear space within
  • Learn the lesson
  • Move on (maybe even doing so a little quicker)

That text from the ex when you remove the cords
One thing that I found is that every time I did a cord removal ritual, the soulmate would get in touch.

On a few occasions I took this as a “sign” that we were meant to reconnect. Leading me back down the rabbit hole. More on that later.

What I later learned is that once you do that cord removal work they will “feel” that disconnect in the energy.  Even if they are absolutely clueless about all things energy and mystical they’ll sense that you are moving on in some way.

If you find this happen don’t be the old me and take it as a green light to go back. Bring your awareness into the mix and recognise:

  • You are now in the midst of letting go
  • You have the choice to choose a healthier response and course of action. Ideally, one that aligns you with how you want to feel, who you want to become and what you want to experience

However, for those that are wanting to reconnect with your ex, be mindful that you can use this as an opportunity to do so. This time with more wisdom and better footing.

Learn the lesson
On that note and going back to my experience of going back into the rabbit hole, it’s important to learn the lesson or lessons that this relationship was there to teach you. This is especially true with karmic soulmates where there was likely to have been a wound that was the point of attraction that brought you together. For example, lack of self-worth, codepedency or not embodying your power.

When you see that root issue you can then start working on healing that wound which further facilitates your healing and personal growth. With the added potential of setting you up for healthier relationships in the future.

Are you ready to remove the cords?
If you are serious about removing cords and moving on from your ex on mind, body and energy level then I’m available to support you. You are choose to download the workbooks I’ve created, if you want to do this alone. Alternatively, if you feel you need support then you can get in touch to work with me 1:1. The options are here and here. I look forward to working with you.

PURPLE: CROWN CHAKRA

Lets begin with: What are chakras?

Essentially they are energy centres inside and outside the body. Energy flows through these centres and around the body. However, energy expands, shrinks and become stagnant depending on what’s going on within and around us. Too little or too much energy can lead to imbalances that manifest physically, mentally or emotionally.

There are 7 main chakras in the body and they are:

Root Chakra – Red
Sacral Chakra – Orange
Solar Plexus Chakra – Yellow
Heart Chakra – Geeen
Throat Chakra – Blue
Third Eye Chakra – Indigo
Crown Chakra – Purple

Each one corresponding to a particular colour, as indicated above. The chakras also correspond to different body parts too. Which is useful to know because some imbalances in the chakras can manifest themselves as ailments or pain the body.

So, today is the final blog post in the Chakra Beauty series. Admittedly, it’s a bit late as I’ve been unwell and only just on the mend.

Today, it is all about the Crown Chakra.

Location: At the top of the head
Colour: Purple
Resonance: Spiritual wisdom, connection to Divine and clarity
Physical symptoms: Headaches
Crown Chakra imbalanced: Loneliness, materialistic, spiritual disconnection, confused or lack of direction/joy/purpose
Crown Chakra balance: Spiritual connection, see and appreciate beauty around you or peace within

The Crown Chakra is the 7th chakra and is associated with your connection to the Divine/Universe. When in balance you can expect to have and feel more connected to the Divine, as well as Higher Self. Increasing that sense of feeling more peaceful from within. Clarity of mind and not feeling so disconnected, bored and unfulfilled in life, is also associated with a more balanced chakra. However, when imbalanced that feeling of boredom, confusion of the mind and feeling disconnected is common. There is also that possibility of feeling really lethargic or experiencing trouble sleeping at night. With this usually being associated with those who are working in very toxic, fast-paced environments.

COLOUR
Purple is the colour that resonates with the Crown Chakra. However, the colour white and silver can also resonate with the Crown Chakra too. The colour purple is known as the colour of royalty, spirituality and wealth. Whilst bringing the colour into your life, maybe through makeup, clothing or nails can support you in balancing your Crown Chakra.

CRYSTALS
Crystals are also linked to the different chakras in your body. You can wear your chose Crown Chakra crystal, hold it during meditation or have it in your space with the intention of healing the Crown Chakra. You can also wear crystals in the form of jewellery too. Crystals that are associated with the Crown Chakra include: Amethyst, Clear Quartz and Selenite.

EXPAND YOUR MIND
Boredom and a cluttered mind are linked to an imbalanced Crown Chakra. So, choose to expand your mind and work on your personal/spiritual development by reading, taking courses/workshops or listen to podcast. In doing so, you are challenging beliefs, perceptions and perspectives that you may be holding that are hindering you. The more you learn the more you expand your mind.

MEDITATION
Bring clarity and calm to your mind through meditation. Whilst also helping yourself to enhance your connection to the Divine, as well as your Higher Self. Overtime, this might lead to increase inner guidance and just feeling more connected from above. A meditation that I recommend is The Guided Chakra Cleanse. It works through all of the chakras too. Not just the Crown Chakra.

SPIRITUAL PRACTICE
Building a relationship with Spirit is a job that only you can do. It requires dedication and practice too. By developing your own spiritual practice you enhance your connection with Spirit. This practice is personal to you and may include a dedicate space, like an altar. In that space and in your practice include practices and tools that resonate with you, eg: candles, crystals, tarot/Oracle/Angel cards, meditation and/or prayer.

A meditation that I recommend is The Guided Chakra Cleanse. It works through all of the chakras too. Not just the Crown Chakra.

INDIGO: THIRD EYE CHAKRA

Over the next few weeks I’ll sharing more about each Chakra in turn. Also sharing beauty tips and routines, aligned with each chakra, to support you to also embrace your own natural beauty.

Today, it is all about the Third Eye Chakra.

Location: Just above and in-between brows
Colour: Indigo
Resonance: Intuition,wisdom, vision/clairvoyance, imagination
Physical symptoms: Head pain, especially in centre of forehead or throbbing.
Third Eye Chakra imbalanced: Ignore intuition, lacking creativity or imagination, dreamy or disorganised
Third Eye Chakra balance: Intuitive, clear vision, objective and good self awareness

The Chakra that everybody who gets into spirituality seems to be want to be able to open. Wanting to be able to see the truth and receive clear visions. However, forcing your Third Eye chakra to open can create a whole load of issues. Just like opening up a Pandora’s Box when you are not ready to see what is hidden inside. Therefore, it is always best to allow it to open naturally and work on this chakra daily in order to cleanse, balance and harmonise it. Allowing yourself the opportunity to receive the guidance and visions that you are ready to receive at the right time.

When balanced you are more able to stay in the present moment, as well as remain focused. As opposed to living in either the past or the present and letting the mind constantly wander from one thing to the next. It’s also associated with hahinv a clear vision for yourself and the direction of your life. Therefore, having somewhere and something to aim for. Maybe even really putting into practice using your imagination to bring into fruition. Being a spiritual chakra, it also relates to having spiritual vision, such as clairvoyanxe and being able to see the truth, as well as the bigger picture.

When out of balance you may find that you find it a change to “trust the vibes and visions that you get”. Therefore, when you receive intuitive hunches you may be more likely to second guess or dismiss them altogether. It is also possible that you find yourself lacking in imagination and creativity. Leaning more on the side of using the faculties of your Conscious Mind, such as over analysing and rational thinking. Frequent headaches and just not living in the world are signs of Third Eye imbalance. Not to mention more serious issues that require medical attention.

COLOUR
Wearing Indigo or utilising the Third Eye symbol are a simple way that you can support, cleanse or balance your Third Eye Chakra on a daily basis. I found that doing this alongside the deeper work of energy or psychic development work to be really beneficial way in self-healing, as well as developing psychic abilities. See the image below for the ways that you can nail it.

CRYSTALS
Crystals are also linked to the different chakras in your body. You can carry them with you, wear as jewellery, hold them during meditation, place over your Third Eye chakra during meditation. Even simply having a Third Eye chakra crystal around you when doing psychic development or intuitive development work may prove beneficial. Two of my personal favourites linked to the Third Eye are Lapis Lazuli and Amethyst.

MEDITATION/VISUALISATION
Meditation helps to increase your spiritual awareness and calm the mind, so that Divine guidance can be received. You can blend this with visualisation too. Visualising your Third Eye Chakra as a spinning wheel of Indigo light. As it spins visualise the dense energy being dissolved and transmuted into light. If you prefer to do a guided meditation then my recommendation would be The Guided Chakra Cleanse. It works through all of the chakras too. Not just the Third Eye Chakra.

Add a mudra to your meditation, like this one for the Third Eye Chakra. Mudras are believed to increase the flow of life force energy. They’re a good way to amplify and direct the e energy of your intention.

BLUE: THROAT CHAKRA

Over the next few weeks I’ll sharing more about each Chakra in turn. Also sharing beauty tips and routines, aligned with each chakra, to support you to also embrace your own natural beauty.

Today, it is all about the Throat Chakra.

Location: Centre of neck at the Throat
Colour: Blue
Resonance: Communication, truth and self-expression
Physical symptoms: Tension in shoulders or neck, nose, throat, jaw, teeth or thyroid
Throat Chakra imbalanced: Inability to or fear of speaking your truth, writer’s block,
Throat Chakra balance: Speak your truth, follow through on your word, especially around purpose and career, ability to communicate clearly and listen

The Throat Chakra is the fifth chakra and is located in the centre of the neck where the throat can be found. This chakra focuses upon expression and communication. When balanced you are confident in and able to speak your truth with love, as well as express yourself clearly. With this also relating to your ability to speak for truth and be honest with yourself too. Therefore, when balanced you embrace your own individuality, quirkiness and uniqueness. Having a real sense of personal expression that supports you in speaking up, as well as following your purpose and vocation. Doing so, without fear of what others say or think, especially when in harmony with the Sacral Chakra.

When imbalanced you may feel shy, inhibited or fearful of speaking your truth or being heard. Fear of judgement from others and worrying about what other people may think tending to pre occupy your mind. The inability to listen to others or hear their point of view, especially when it opposes yours is also related to an imbalance in this chakra. Keeping in mind that listening is a key communication skill. Also, you may find that imbalance in the throat chakra can lead to be being a gossip queen/king and being overly critical of yourself or others.

MEDITATION
Meditation that focuses on the balancing, harmonizing and activating the Throat Chakra is a great way to help with any imbalances. You can blend this with breathing techniques or chanting. Using your voice through chanting is a great way to clear your throat chakra and basically find your voice again. A meditation that I recommend is The Guided Chakra Cleanse. It works through all of the chakras too. Not just the Throat Chakra.

COLOUR
Blue is the colour that resonates with the Throat Chakra. Blue relates to communication, truth, peace, calm and serenity. Therefore it is a really good choice for interviews or any kind of public speaking. Paint your nails in your favourite blue shade or paint an accept nail in that shade with a nail art design. See below for idea

CRYSTALS
Crystals are also linked to the different chakras in your body. You can carry them with you, hold them during meditation, placed on the Throat Chakra or have them closeby when getting ready to go out in order to amplify the energy of your intention. Also giving you a little reminder of your intention to activate or bring balance to your Throat chakra. Crystals associated with this chakra are: Turquoise, Sodalite and Aquamarine.

YELLOW: SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA

Over the next few weeks I’ll sharing more about each Chakra in turn. Also sharing beauty tips and routines, aligned with each chakra, to support you to also embrace your own natural beauty.

Today, it is all about the Solar Plexus Chakra.

Location: Upper abdomen
Color: Yellow
Resonance: Self-confidence, power, self-worth and self-esteem
Physical symptoms: Issues with digestion or weak abdominal muscles
Solar Plexus Chakra imbalanced: Lack of confidence, self-doubt, self-loathing or hot tempered
Solar Plexus Chakra balance: Confident, Know your own value and comfortable with simply being you

Your Solar Plexus is considered your seat of power. Associated with identity, confidence, personal power and intuition. When balanced you are likely to have healthy self-esteem, feel confident, believe in yourself and motivated to achieve your goals. You also be more likely to be able to trust your intuition and follow through without overanalysing or second guessing yourself.

However, when imbalanced you might be prone to looking outside of yourself for validation or approval. Being controlling and manipulative of others, whilst experiencing self doubt and a lack of confidence, are all signs of imbalance within this chakra.

Also, if you are sensitive to energy then you might find that you place a protective hand over your Solar Plexus area when in toxic environments or crowded places. I used to do this alot and one of my mentors explained that this is a common response by lightworkers and empaths because the Solar Plexus is your power centre. Without knowing it you are seeking to protect your power.

COLOUR
The colour associated with the Solar Plexus is yellow. Yellow also resonates with the sun. Radiating positivity, joy, hope and optimism. Wisdom, clarity and intuition are also associated with yellow. Work with yellow on those days when you’re feeling blue and need an injection of happiness in your life. Also, adding yellow foods to your meal, yellow flowers to your home or yellow nails/eyeshadow can bring balance to your Solar Plexus.

CRYSTALS
Crystals are also linked to the different chakras in your body. You can carry them with you, hold them during meditation, placed on the Solar Plexus or have them closeby when getting ready to go out in order to amplify the energy of your intention. Also giving you a little reminder of your intention to activate or bring balance to your Solar Plexus chakra. Crystals associated with this chakra are: Citrine, Tiger’s Eye, Honey Calcite and Pyrite.

THE BREATH
Place your hand over your diaphragm. Focus your attention here and upon breathing into your diaphragm. Feeling it expand on the inhale. Do this for a few breaths to get a natural rhythm going. Then also focus on contracting at the end of your exhale to release the breath and expel oxygen.

Sounds basic yet working with the breath with intention is powerful for moving energy.

Other suggestions include:
• Angelic Reiki
• Meditation
• Affirmations

ORANGE: SACRAL CHAKRA

Over the next few weeks I’ll sharing more about each Chakra in turn. Also sharing beauty tips and routines, aligned with each chakra, to support you to also embrace your own natural beauty.

Today, it is all about the Sacral Chakra.

Location: Lower abdomen
Color: Orange and gold
Resonance: Feelings, creativity, sexuality & desires, intuition
Physical symptoms: Menstrual cycle issues, lower back or bladder
Sacral Chakra imbalanced: Overly emotional, addictions, high/low sexual appetite……
Sacral Chakra balance: Emotionally connected, able to enjoy deep pleasure (joy, sexual)…..

The Sacral Chakra governs our emotions and creativity, as well as our emotions. This chakra dealing with a our feelings and our ability to feel. When this chakra is balanced we find it easier to feel, deal and respond to emotions in a healthier way. Finding it easy to give ourselves permission to feel joy and experience pleasure in our daily lives. This also includes giving and receiving pleasure sexually. However, when imbalanced there may be a tendency to be clingy or overly emotional. In addition to this, self-expression may be repressed and being able to listen to your intuition, especially understanding and interpreting your emotions can be a struggle. Repressed sexual trauma may also be housed here too, as well as feelings such as guilt and shame.

BUTTERFLY POSE

COLOUR
Wearing or eating foods in the colour orange can also support with balancing your Sacral Chakra. This is because each colour has its own frequency and healing benefits. Often I find that I am drawn to a specific colour at different points in my life. So, one thing I started to do was blend that colour into my beauty and makeup routine, such as nail art and eyeshadow. Later down the line I discovered that working intuitively with colour is a great way to heal and maintain wellbeing in the chakras. You could also include gold too.

Being intuitively drawn to these colours at key points in my life was something I found happened and still happens for me. I take this as a sign of where I need to focus my healing work.

So, let’s explore some of the mood and healing benefits of Orange:

Energy balance: Resonates with the Sacral Chakra, just below the belly button. Connected to emotional wellbeing, creativity, intuitive feelings, sexuality and sensuality. The ability to express the real you freely.
Mood: Orange is the colour of optimism and imagination. Activate those sparks of creativity and help yourself overcome lack of motivation or the dreaded procrastination.

Dance, such as belly dancing or anything where you move the hips is a good place to start when it comes to the Sacral Chakra. Particularly if you are some that feels out of sorts with the feminine, your body, self expression or sensuality.

Disclaimer: Please note that the Sacral is also where sexual trauma can also be stored. If emotions or memories come up regarding this, either with you or someone else on your ancestral home please consult relevant professionals in this area.

PATTERN INTERRUPT ANXIETY

Lockdown 3 in the UK. The uncertainty and sudden change. 5 years ago this would have sent my anxiety through the roof.

Change and uncertainty became my trigger points after the sudden passing of my nan and attempted murder of my father 5 years ago. From that point any sudden changes or glimmer of uncertainty sent me into panic. Even being asked to do something out of the blue that I had done many times before would send fear through my body.

And it felt like I couldn’t stop it.

Although, I definitely tried my hardest to hide it. Which simply made me feel even more anxious.

However, when I look back I’m pretty sure that I had been experiencing low level anxiety most of my life. Yet being in this heightened state of alert had become my default setting. With the sudden, sad changes in my life being the catalyst my body needed to finally let me know that it was stressed out.

Having self healed in the past I knew that the only way for me to move through the anxiety was to go to the root of the issue and heal from there. Using the energy healing modalities I knew I started doing the inner work and healing.

However, in the meantime I still needed to be able to manage the symptoms on a daily basis. Those times when in the moment I would shake, feel panicky or breathless. So, I did my research. Finding tools and practices that could be applied in the moment.

I’m not going to lie, it was a case of trial and error. Whereby, I found some things more effective than others or some practices more effective in one scenario than other. A few of which I’ll be sharing here and on my social media pages. So, keep an eye out and check what resonates because I dont believe there is a one size fits all approach.

The first practice is taken from NLP and is called a Pattern Interrupt. Essentially, it’s an interruption that breaks a habit or state (such as a trail of negative thoughts). Repeated over time, it helps to stop you reverting to old patterns of thinking and behaving.

What I found is that using a Pattern Interrupt creates a pause which gives you time to shift state, change behaviour or thinking. Just like catching yourself in the moment and choosing again.

There are lots of types of Pattern Interrupts which can be researched. One such being the snapping of a hair band on a wrist, as introduced to me by a hypnthetapist and one of my Spiritual Mentors.

I’ve created the above 30-sec self love and healing video that you can use to interrupt a pattern of negative thoughts. It can also be used to support you in cleansing and balancing your Root Chakra. Something that no doubt will help many at this time.
